Newsflash
The ways to success and fullfillment

There are many documented reasons why people fail to achieve their full potential. Harvard Business School has taken a vital interest in what makes the difference in success or failure for people of similar backgrounds and educational standards.

Their studies find that 3% become successful, 30% are moderately successful and 67% just exist. The significant difference of the 3% who are successful is that they have written down specific goals. The 30% who are moderately successful have a general idea where they are going but don't have any goals formalised. The rest are happy to watch the world go by.

What is interesting is the people in the 30% category only need to put a small amount of effort to jump into the next group. The secret behind the effort is "the development of habits and strategies which support the achievement of clear goals."

How can you get the most out of a life coach? | Print |  E-mail

Those people that get the most out of a life coach are people that recognise this as a journey that they are on, rather that something that 'happens' to them. They:-

  • Are prepared to do some work between sessions. At the end of each session, the clients and I agree on actions the client can take. The client must be 100% committed to their own success
  • Are willing to work through whatever fear of success or failure may be present, but have realistic expectations. Miracles do happen, but hard work generally comes first!
  • Are aware that change is a process that takes time and effort, but the rewards are worth the effort
  • Are interested in making their lives congruent with their personal values
  • Want to develop their inner resources and intuitive abilities in order to create a more comfortable life
